Did you see Salma Hayek trying to milk a cow?

I subscribe to several Facebook news feeds from company pages on my Every Day I see a Cow Facebook account and one of them happens to be the Milk Mustache Campaign.

The organization just came out with a new video to entice people to drink more milk. I have no idea if it will have the intended effect but the video is hilarious! And yes, there’s a cow in there. Actually there are several cows in there. Here’s just one of them.

Salma Hayek clearly has a great sense of humor and doesn’t mind making fun of herself as she frantically searches for milk everywhere. She does a great job at portraying the struggles of motherhood…

This has to be one of my favorite ads in a long time, cows or not. What do you think of it?

A Romanian cow’s first appearance

If you get your news updates on the internet, you may have seen the same news bit I saw yesterday. It’s about two Romanian boys, 5 and 7 years old, who are apparently the strongest boys their age in the world. I can’t find the direct link to the Yahoo article anymore but I found another and you can read the article and view the video below and share your thoughts on what this father is doing with his kids (good or bad?). I thought Americans took themselves too seriously by enrolling their four-year olds in Little League baseball and youth soccer, but I think this guy is taking it to a whole new level. Take that, Yankies!

The funny part about this video, at least funny to me, is how it starts. Within less than a second, you see a cow. And not any cow but one on a “leash” and being walked by a woman. Wow, talking about a docile animal!

Take a look at them  (the lady walking her cow, and the two boys) more closely in the video, they’re pretty impressive.

How about a cow pinata for that birthday party?

No, my son didn’t get a cow pinata for his birthday party. Or any pinata actually, since I don’t really trust bilndfolded four-year olds swinging a bat around. I mean, would you?

My kids love watching the Curious George videos and I recently borrowed a few more DVDs from our local library. One of them is called “Curious George goes to a birthday party“.

The first episode is called “Pinata Vision” and George is invited to swing a bat at the pinata during a birthday party. Things don’t go so well and George ends up making quite a mess – a rather entertaining scene for my kids. Here’s the back of the DVD box, showing George and the pinata.

But wait, there’s more! If you take a close look at the list of episodes, you’ll notice the last episode on the DVD is called “Keep Out Cows.” And there happens to be a LOT of cows in this one, as in a whole herd, all eager to devour a large field of wildflowers while George tries his best to stop them.

The first thing Curious George manages to do is give one of the cows a good taste of the flowers. Chump!

It only takes a few minutes for the other cows to figure out where the good food is. As they make their way towards the wildflowers George tries to put arrows down for them to follow. Thanks to this episode, I learned with George that cows can’t read arrow signs.

New Real California Milk ads with cows

New Real California Milk ads with cows

The Real California Milk association is launching a series of new ads called “Make Us Part of Your Family” and I have to admit, most of them are pretty funny. I understand several of the ads will play during the upcoming 2012 Superbowl. I have seen the announcement from Real California Milk pop up in my Facebook news thread and I thought I’d share with you a few of my favorites.

The first Real California Milk ad is called Mom Jeans and there are no words to describe it fairly, so I’ll just let you watch it.

There are many other new ads in this series and you can view all of them, along with their previous ad campaigns, on the Real California Milk YouTube site, but I’ll share one more. It’s called Birthday Party and it shows you that if you ever decide to make a cow part of your family, she’ll be fun but also won’t mind telling it like it is.

Curious George goes on a cow ride

I’d like to start today’s post by thanking one of my faithful readers, Pseu at Pseu’s Blog, for sharing a photo of her cow slippers after reading yesterday’s post on.. cow slippers! I thought nobody bought cow slippers, but Pseu proved me wrong. Look how cute her own cow slippers are. Blue eyed cows, nonetheless!

Tonight the boys watched a few episodes of Curious George and one of them was called “Curious George Stain Remover”. In this episode, George tries to clean up a juice stain on a rug and ends up flooding the whole house. He borrows a water pump from the farmer neighbor but needs help carry it back to the house, so the cow helps out.

Here are the cows’ first appearance in the show:

And here’s Curious George getting a ride on the cow!

The funny part comes at the end when George forgets to bring the cow back on the farm. Here’s the yellow man in the hat meeting the cow in his living room:

I’m not sure who’s more surprised, the cow or the man in the yellow hat! Hey mister, has anyone ever told you how silly you look with that giant yellow hat on your head?
