A few days ago, San Diego County experienced extremely cold weather with heavy rains. The result? Snow in our mountains, lots of snow. Here’s a nice snowy mountain located less than one hour of San Diego.
So today, I decided to take the kids for a ride up in the mountains to play in the snow. On our way back down towards the highway, I saw… real cows! And not just one but several of them, in a number of fields. Apparently, they don’t mind the cold too much. The weather was perfect today, crisp but sunny, so it made for some nice pictures.
Our first cow was in an enclosure. Check out the big horns on this one!
Not far down the road, we found more cows grazing on the lush grass. They looked like they were enjoying a nice, sunny day in the San Diego mountains.
Mark this day because it won’t happen very often, but it proves once again that you do see cows every day, and sometimes real ones!
