Random cow sightings for a casual Sunday

We took the kids to an indoor playground this morning for a little fun and exercise. Unlike the indoor playground I took them to the other day, this one didn’t have any cows, at least not in plain sight.

We then drove down the road to Coco’s restaurant for a quick lunch, which never ends up being quick there. No matter which Coco’s location we visit, I always feel we get trapped in time as soon as we walk through the door. Everything seems to be moving in slow motion, including our server, our food, our check… Somehow our kids are never affected by the slowdown – the restaurant appears to have the opposite effect on them! With no appetizer or dessert orders, we managed to be in and out in one hour and 15 minutes today, and only 20 of those minutes were used for eating.

While browsing the menu I spotted my first cow of the day (alright, maybe it was the second or third already).

Cute, but not even close to yesterday’s Bull’s Smokin’ BBQ logo. Come on, Coco’s, impress me!

During storytime tonight, I spotted another cow, this one a lot cuter and reminding of a recent encounter with a new creamer at Target. I found this cow creamer inside the children’s book Mr Putter and Tabby Bake the Cake.

Hey, Mrs Teaberry, you’re my kind of gal! I love your cow creamer, and your teapot cover, and your walking salt shaker, and your coconut with a monkey head, and your fruitcake… Sorry, I’m afraid you’ll have to read the book if you need an explanation… It is a very cute story, you won’t regret it!
