A couple of months ago, I attended a parent school council meeting where I noticed a book in a display window featuring a cow and a pig happily dancing. Tonight I entered the same building for the same monthly meeting. This meeting didn’t take place in our usual room and was moved to the school district library. Let me show you what I had the chance to stare at for a whole hour…
One of the bookcases in the room featured not one, but two cows. Actually, there were five cows if you count the three featured on the book cover! And on the shelf below, I found cow’s favorite best friend, a pig. And not any pig, but Olivia the pig!
By the way, this happens to be my second encounter with the book Click,Clack, Moo, Cows That Type in less than two weeks (the first cow book encounter was at Starbucks on Earth Day).
Now, take a look at how cute the cow on the left is. The only thing is, it looks more like a black and white paint horse with horns than a cow!
But wait, I’m not done! On the shelf below Olivia’s shelf, I found… another cow, this time in company of an elephant. And not any elephant, but Elmer the patchwork elephant!
So did you count the cows? That’s a total of six cows (and four pigs – two stuffed ones, and two book covers) on one single bookcase. Not bad for the first Monday of May!
