Today’s cow comes from a coffee shop

Today’s cow comes from a coffee shop, but not from a coffee cup as you may think. I stopped by a local coffee shop with my kids this afternoon after a trip to the library. This was an unscheduled pit stop just to kill time before dinner. I’ve only been inside this coffeeshop once before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect.

It didn’t take long for the kids to find the “kiddy corner”, which included a number of toys and games, along with a small table and chairs. Look how cute the hand-painted table is:

What says kid corner better than farm animals? I love that the cow and pig are looking at each other from opposite sides of the table. Someone’s done their homework and knows how the two like to keep each other company. Now take a closer look at the cow itself:

Mmmm, doesn’t that green luscious grass look good? Doesn’t staring at a munching cow make you hungry? How about some pastry with that coffee? I just can’t resist the power of this subliminal message anymore. Must… eat… food…

  1. I love how his spots remind me of the number 5 on dominoes!
