If you read yesterday’s post, you know I lost power at 3:38pm, along with at least 5 other million U.S. Southwest residents. I got my power back 10 hours later, at 1:30am but the bright side of this inconvenient event is that school was cancelled today, so I got to take both kids for a park outing.
On the way there we drove by a restaurant we’ve never been to, and we don’t drive in front of it very often either. Something caught my attention and my youngest must have been looking at the same thing because he blurted out, “there’s a cow on the roof!” I’d never noticed it before so I’m not sure it’s always been there or it’s a “new” addition. My oldest didn’t get a chance to see it, so I promised him we’d stop by after the park to look at it more closely and take pictures. Here’s the cow on top of the roof of the Pinnacle Peak restaurant:

Even the restaurant sign above the front door embraces the cow (I guess they have to as a steakhouse) and proudly displays a bull logo:
I think this is quite a find for a casual Friday! Can you beat that?
